1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
I´m flyckt, an artist, writer and producer from Stockholm.
Did hit my head pretty bad last week so not sure who I am any longer though.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
My new single LOVE IS OVERRATED just came out! Super proud of this record! My ep will be released at the end of April and prior to that I will release one more single. Stay tuned! We are currently working on videos for upcoming records but until then check out the video to LOVE IS OVERRATED. We recorded this video running through the streets of Stockholm by night in the rare company of three mannequins. With the video to LOVE IS OVERRATED we wanted to capture the escapism in the lyrics of the record. Running away from the distraction of overrated love. The constant movement is like a symbol for the runaway feeling. If you never stop and reflect the pain won´t hit you.
Unfortunately no tour dates confirmed at the moment. Can´t wait to be performing live again though!

I write and produce all my music
I´m a member of the dance trio Moodshift
I used to play in the band Urban Cone for eight years, we toured the world and loved it!
Since we quit the band I´ve been writing songs everyday for the flyckt project. I have two albums ready for you!
Authenticity is more than important to me – that’s why my lyrics are very personal.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I love the playfulness of Gucci´s latest ads. Love the colors and the feeling of leaving reality. The surrealness and no limits. It´s like moments of distraction from normal life. Some of my productions are Rick Owen. Twisted. And some songs and productions are just classy, big and beautiful like Valentino?
5. Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?
I love bad habits! And have no intention to quit them. It´s the contrasts that makes life interesting right? But okey I give you snus, junk food, Netflix and work.
I never know when to stop working. This is why I fainted in a staircase last week and hit my head. Same thing with Netflix, never know when to turn off. I have no guilty pleasures, I only commit to pleasures.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I´m obsessed with food. I make the best smash burgers in world! I´m insane. I spend hours of baking the perfect buns and making unimaginable good pickles. I will have my own restaurant one day. You will love it!
7. Being on stage feels like….!
Euphoria! It´s been so long, it hurts to think about it.
It´s the most beautiful feeling. And one of the reasons to why I write music.
8. Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?
Must have: A perfect white tee.
No go: Jeans with lots of pockets sewn on them.
Fashion brand: Our legacy – and vintage. Love contrasts. The mix between high end fashion and vintage. It´s like the rest of your life. Everything is in the contrasts.
