Hello! I’m FAANGS. I’m an artist from a small town in Canada that makes pop music that’s darker and more unapologetic than it’s ever been before. My favorite food is spaghetti, and my favorite pastime is rewatching Tim Burton movies while eating popcorn in the dark! I am obsessed with fashion, creating music and trying to make the world a better/more accepting place for those who don’t ‘fit in’ to societal standards. Nice to meet you x
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
I am dropping my FIRST EVER PROJECT on Nov 12, called ‘TEETH OUT’! It is the most sickening + beautiful body of work I’ve ever created – I couldn’t be more proud of myself and my team for creating it. It is a sonic glimpse of an introduction into the wonderland that is FAANGS’ World. I am thrilled to share it with all open ears and begin to drop the visuals/begin to play SHOWS!
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I recorded all my songs with a diamond grill in my mouth. (which is probably why you can only understand 1⁄2 the sh*t I am saying.. Haha )
I write and co-produce all of my music. ALL OF IT.
I make all the treatments for my visuals. Which I am very excited about.
I can play piano, trumpet, violin and the triangle. Really f*cking great at the triangle. All of my lyrics give away all my secrets.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I don’t think any one brand encapsulates my music perfectly. I certainly admire the visuals of Gucci, but the darkness of Alexander McQueen. I love the clean edge to Balenciaga. If i could smash all those brands together I think we’d be pretty close to a match!
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
All songs thus far + what is to come on the project, allows the listener a deeper insight on my story leading up to now and how complicated emotionally/literally the journey has been. From
losing people I love in my life, to dysfunctional relationships, to battling with self love, to fighting to have others believe in my vision – it all ties into one big story. I am a strong advocate for self love and embracing individuality. SO THERE ARE DEFINITELY SOME ANTHEMS TO TALK YOUR SH*T AND GET WASTED TO!!
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
My friends can certainly agree to this: I make the world’s best grilled cheese when I’m wasted and it’s 3am or later. 10/10 YELP reviews so I know it must be pretty damn good. LOL.
I have always been hugely into fashion, I used to sew and make all my own clothes, I need to get back into that!

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play?
I’ve been playing piano almost my whole life. My dad gave me his college keyboard when I was 8 yrs/old, and I locked myself in my room everyday after school and learned to play by ear. Then I started getting sick of playing other people’s songs and wanted to play my own. Starting the journey of writing my own music!

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far being in the music industry?
Being female. Trust me. I am thankful I have the career I do, because everyday I try to stand up for women more and more, as we are automatically not taken as seriously as men, rather looked upon as if we are objects. I refuse to stop voicing my opinion and speaking the truth of my artistry. I will not be told to calm down. I will not be belittled for having opinions. I will keep pissing off old men that are trying to tell me who I need to be by doing the opposite. Forever and always. x
