1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
Hi! My name is Aidan, I sing and play guitar, keyboard, and ukulele in the band daysormay from Vernon, BC, Canada.
My name is Nolan and I play bass and keyboards in daysormay! Hello! My name is Carson and I play drums in daysormay.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
We just dropped a single called Ego! I’m super excited to finally put it out into the world along with its music video. We also recently announced that our full-length album, Just Existing, is coming out October 6th, 2021!
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!
– We’re here to do whatever we want creatively, we get bored easily so our style is always shifting.
– Carson and Nolan (drums and bass) are twin brothers.
– We’ve been playing together since we were 10 years old. So almost 11 years now.
– All of our music videos are DIY. Making videos was our first big passion before music.
– We’ve toured in Canada, the USA, Germany, England, and The Netherlands.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I really like Yeezy, Salomon, Holiday, Carhartt, and Arc’teryx. I think it would be a mix of those.
We’ve talked about it being futuristic but lived in. Very human. Kind of scrappy and DIY, but from the future.
5. What’s your songwriting process?
It depends on the song, I find it’s different every time. Lately the process has been pretty collaborative, one of us will bring a voice memo of a melody or some chords to everyone and then we’ll build off it from there.
6. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
I’d make streaming royalties at least a cent per stream.
7. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Aidan: I’m really into visual art and making videos. And that’s worked out cause I’ve been able to use that for music videos and graphic design with the band.
Nolan: I can spin a pen!
Carson: I like to cook. It’s really nice to have good food while you make music, because it only makes everything more productive.
