1. Please introduce yourself in a few words!

Hey! Dawson Gamble here, I’m a singer/Songwriter from Toronto, Canada! Simply put I love Music! Playing and learning new instruments and developing as an artist in general!

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

I just dropped my latest single titled “What You Don’t Know” which I am so beyond excited about because I love this song with all my heart. The visuals and campaign we created around the song make it all the more special for me. The music video is coming very soon. I had such a blast shooting that video, as it was slightly out of my comfort zone but pushed me as an artist and in the long run made me better!

3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

Hmmmm… 5 Things you should know about me? I love being with my friends, as my friends are my team which I’m truly grateful for ang lucky. I believe we have such a special dynamic working together which translates in everything you hear and all the visuals you see. I love Skateboarding/Snowboarding and playing sports in general! I am unlike most artists because all the content you see is made in house and on a tight budget as we are an independent team emerging trying to make our mark. I LOVE FOOD! But who doesn’t, right? One last thing you should know is that I live and breathe music, I don’t really care for the glamour or if I’m ever gonna play huge stadiums, I am all about the music and the craft and I think you can hear that through my music.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

It depends on the song, as I try and expand my genre with each and every song I write, to dive out of my comfort zone to try and create something truly beautiful and meaningful, regardless of the genre. If you had to put a label on it I would consider it Indie/pop with some hints of Blues and RnB, so brand wise I’d have to say I’m like a thrift store. You get a good catalog of music that is inspired by different genres but all with the roots of myself.

5. Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?

One bad habit I have that drives me mad is I’m a night owl, I can never seem to want to get in bed, close my eyes, and call it a day. Maybe it’s because I am most creative at night but I definitely need to get a hold of my sleeping patterns with a tight grip! And if I’m being completely transparent, I eat too much! Lol

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I wouldn’t call it a special talent, but some other hobbies I enjoy are; skateboarding, snowboarding, hockey, golf, and cooking! I always love trying new activities, I feel like it helps develop new skills and you never know what might stick.

7. Being on stage feels like….!

Absolutely perfect and like home. I feel as though I’m in my rightful place in the world when I’m on stage singing my music for people. And it’s not even about me and having all eyes on me, it’s more about the community, you have the duty of creating the vibe of setting. You can connect with humans so much just by seeing how they connect with your song and lyrics. You can create memories for people that last forever. And to me that’s magic.

8. Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?

That’s a tough question! Definitely some big oversized hoodies, jeans, denim jackets and warm wool sweaters. Overall I love being comfy! A No-Go in my closet would probably be tight tank tops, I’ve never had a vibe for anything that fits too tight! Some of my favourite brands are Nike, Dickies, Vans, Carhart and my Merch! Recently I’ve been really into thrifting, I’ve found some of my favourite articles of clothing doing so.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

One question I’ve always wanted to be asked in an interview is why I wanted to do music. The answer to that is simple. For me there is no other option!
