Damian Lynn „Blink Of An Eye“ + Exclusive Interview

Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!

Thanks for the opportunity. I’m Damian Lynn, Singer-Songwriter and Producer from Lucerne in Switzerland.

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

My new single „Blink Of An Eye“ has just been released about a week ago and I’m really excited to see what’s happening around it. I’m also working on other songs which I would like to pack on an album altogether in the near future.

Playing live shows in these times is a thing but I’m playing one or the other spontaneous festival this summer and am looking forward to playing some „normal“ shows again when the whole thing is over hopefully.

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

My music has urban influences, I love beats and rhythm, I play different instruments, I started to produce my own music just two years ago, our live-show (in a duo with my drummer) is quite energetic

What can we expect 2020 from you?

Another single I’d say 🙂

Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?

I love desserts like: Crepes, churros, waffles, poffertjes and can’t stop eating them.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I can impersonate Roger Federer.

Being on stage feels like….!

Being in a completely different world for an hour or two and it’s really exciting but also very exhausting.

Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?

I used to wear a vest on stage a couple years ago which I would never ever wear again. Fashion brand: I love a Swiss brand called „Rework“ which recycles old clothes and makes really nice new pieces out of them. Fragrance: I’ve been wearing Hugo Boss Bottled for many years and love it.

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

A nerdy one: Your live-show seems very complex, how does it work? It’s all done via Ableton and my looper receives MIDI messages and sync so it stays in time and plays, stops and clears when it should.
