1. How did you get into modeling?

I’ve always thought it would be so cool to be a model and it wasn’t until I graduated from college that I met a photographer in Dallas named Thomas Massaquoi, who told me I have what it takes to be a part of the industry. It was the first time anyone really told me I could do it. That was the boost I needed to really start this journey. Thomas provided me with a way to express myself artistically through photography, by showcasing different looks and styles. This gave me the confidence to reach out and start working with many photographers. I’ll always be very thankful for the opportunity Thomas provided me.

2. What are you doing if you are not modeling?

I’m a very active guy: I love to be in the gym, as it is a good way to release stress and put me in a good mindset. Fitness has always been a big part of my life and it’s what I love doing as my other job, which is coaching swim teams. I love going on adventures; for instance, that could mean having a good night out with friends or traveling to different places I’ve never been before.

3. The most spontaneous/difficult/strange thing you’ve ever done?

I’m not the most spontaneous person out there, but there have been many times where I’ve made a lot of spontaneous trips when I needed to unwind and get away.

The most difficult thing that I have ever done in my life is dare to be myself when living in a world that constantly tries to sweep who you are under the rug.

I haven’t really done too many strange things, but I’m a very unique person who loves to be silly and loves to live life in the moment!

4. What’s your life moto?

The motto that has always always been a part of my life would be “peace, love, and happiness”. I always love to spread positivity everywhere I go, and this moto is a good reminder of what I believe in. It’s always served me well in my darkest times and has provided me with the hope to get through those moments.

5. Describe your personal style – Favorite Brands/Fragrance?!

My personal style is usually athletic shorts and a tank top. I love being comfortable all the time, if I can, but when I go out with friends, I usually love to experiment with different styles. Sometimes, I love the grunge look or wearing something preppy! I have a pair of jeans that are my favorite, because they are bedazzled and sparkly from top to bottom. Anything shiny always catches my eye! I always love adding accessories, like necklaces or bracelets to complement my look. As I’m walking out the door, I’ll always spray Versace to give myself that confident vibe.

6. What genre of music best describes you?

I love listening to a range of music; sometimes I’m in the mood to listen to a good angry rock song or a soulful pop ballad – it really depends on how I’m feeling in the moment. My favorite musical artist is the QUEEN of alternative-rock herself, Alanis Morissette! I’ve always connected with her music, and she continues to inspire me with each song she makes!

7. Where are your roots – The best thing about/to do in your hometown?

I grew up in Katy, Texas! It’s a suburb of Houston. Most of the time when I wasn’t busy practicing with the swim team, I would always go hang out at Katy Mills Mall with friends. There weren’t a lot of attractions when I grew up there, but when I went off to college they built a really cool water park! I’m jealous I never got to go lol. I will say, Katy has a lot of great restaurants – some of the best Tex-Mex food you’ll ever have! It was classic suburban living.

8. Name one celebrity you’d like to get naughty with!

I plead the fifth on that! 😉 I’d go straight for Alanis Morissette lol.

9. Do you have any special Talents?

The sport of swimming has always been something that I’m blessed to have had a great career in. Through a lot of hard work and dedication, I was able to go far in the sport. I was fortunate enough to qualify for the 2012 Olympic time trials and make it to the division 1 NCAA swim meet, representing my alma mater, TCU! Go Frogs!

10. What is the most interesting thing online at the moment?

I’m a big fan of the music industry and album stats, so I’m always looking up different album sales and how each musician is doing. I love to follow my favorite artists on social media and be “that” fan. I realize that’s really random, but hey, I’m a random guy! So to answer the question: I’m figuring out how to have access to the Billboard music charts without having to pay a $600 monthly fee!
