Ami launches the first in a new series of artistic drops focusing on the Ami de Cœur. These creative collaborations will take place on a yearly basis: each time, a different artist will propose their interpretation of AMI’s heart-crowned trademark in a special capsule collection. French illustrator Jean Jullien is inaugurating the series.
This first limited-edition capsule revisits a selection of iconic basics from the AMI wardrobe: three t-shirts, three sweatshirts and three hoodies, all unisex pieces in white, featuring the Ami de Cœur by Jean Jullien, embroidered in black.
Jullien has designed six different illustrations: each is a rendition in his distinctive style of the same little character, wearing an Ami de Coeur-shaped hat, in a variety of poses or expressions (smiling, sitting, raising arms, looking surprised etc.).
To further highlight the limited and exclusive aspect of the capsule, every piece will be numbered on its own hangtag.
I’ve been a longtime fan of Jean Jullien’s captivating universe. His unique imagery is delicate, yet fun and ironic, which perfectly fits the spirit of Ami. It has been a joy to work together, in this very first Ami de Cœur’s artistic drop.
