1. How did you get into modelling?

I started modelling in October 2020. A photographer on Instagram saw some of my gym progress pictures, got in touch and we arranged a photoshoot. It was my first time doing anything like this and so, instead of worrying what I looked like, I just gave it my all. I was on top of the world after that shoot. It was such an enriching feeling seeing the final shots. I had recently gone through a tough time in a past relationship and had lost a lot of my self-worth. After that shoot, I had a new-found confidence in myself.

2. What are you doing if you are not modelling?

You’ll normally find me in the gym. I love working out and it’s a huge part of my mental and physical health. I also love being outdoors: walking, cycling, camping, hill walking. I equally love to bake; I’m an amateur but practice makes perfect.

3. The most spontaneous/difficult/strange thing you’ve ever done?

Since I was 12 years old, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I believed I was put on this Earth to help people. At 14 I decided to become a biology teacher, inspired by my own biology teacher. I went to the University of Stirling and graduated with a BSc in Biology and Professional Education. Afterwards, I completed my probationary year and managed to secure a full-time teaching post. I was at that school for 5 years with a lot of highs and lows.

During lockdown, I had a lot of time to reflect and evaluate my life. I asked myself: can I do this job for the rest of my life? The answer was no. It wasn’t sustainable – despite my love of teaching, I wasn’t getting the same satisfaction out of the job as when I first started at that school. I made a very difficult decision to resign from my financially secure position to pursue a career in modelling. Some called me crazy and maybe I am. Regardless, I am happy with my choice. I know it won’t be easy but I’m ready to work like I’ve never done before to make a name for myself in this industry. Within the first 10 days of being a full-time freelance model, I had been to London, Aberdeen and Manchester for shoots. I’m excited about my next chapter – for all the people I will meet, the places I will go and the connections I will create.

4. What’s your life motto?

My life motto used to be „work hard, play harder“ but with my recent life changes it’s now „be brave“. Life is too short and you just have to live in the moment and be yourself. Be bold. Be brave. Be you.

5. Describe your personal style – Favorite Brands/Fragrance?!

My personal style goes from one extreme to the next. I love wearing skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and trainers when I’m out and about, but when I get home, I like wearing loose-fitting joggers and a hoodie. When I’m at the gym, it’s always Nike. My go-to fragrances are Savage, Invictus and Calvin Klein.

6. What genre of music best describes you?

Music is a big part of my day, from shower tunes first thing in the morning to gym sessions later in the day… plus singing full volume in the car. I like pop/rock. My taste ranges from Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s ‚Rain On Me‘ to ‚I’m on Top of the World‘ by Imagine Dragons and everything in between.

7. Where are your roots – The best thing about/to do in your hometown?

I live in a small town in Scotland called Falkirk. It’s in the middle of two big cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh. We have a few tourist attractions like The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel. They are great to visit for a walk and to clear your head. There are also loads of local cafes around the town which I visit way too much!

8. Name one celebrity you’d like to get naughty with!

This is a tough call but if I had to narrow it down to just one, it would have to be Chris Hemsworth… as Thor, of course. Who could argue with those arms, his hair and that face?!

9. Do you have any special Talents?

I think this is a very Scottish thing but I really struggle to identify any special talents. Being a teacher allowed me to communicate effectively, to lead and listen to young people. But out of the classroom I would say I’m a natural dancer. Since about 10 years old, I’ve loved to dance. On a night out I can always bust a few moves and whenever I hear music it just makes me want to get on my feet. I’ve got no formal training but I just listen to the beat and let my body do the rest.

10. What is the most interesting thing online at the moment?

Kind of new to this but I can spend hours on it – TikTok! I love watching the videos people make. They never fail to make me laugh!
