„I had a spiritual revelation in 2013 that brought me to making hip-hop after living on a kibbutz in Israel for a few weeks. I worked on an organic farm in Portugal one summer where I recorded my vocals for the first time in a solar-paneled studio. Using earth energy to fuel my recording process made me feel so connected to the universe as a whole, and that’s where my passion really sparked. These were the early days of the inner blooming artist that has brought me to where I am today. Since then I have studied Digital music production, toured/shared stages with Hip-Hop legends, and joined west coast rap group The People North West.“
„Hip-hop taught me how to be a source of realness in the world.
This EP is about many things, but the title One Way Ticket is a play on words alluding to how we are all on the same journey, as one. Set to drop on July 12th, the project is laced with metaphor, style, and musicality. My producer Moxsa aka Ari James brings old school flavour with new school sounds to create a truly unique sonic experience that’s reminiscent of the 90’s, but definitely relevant to today’s hip-hop.
I love to read, travel, explore, write poetry, turn up to obnoxious trap, work hard, chill hard. I own a CBD tea company called FLEURS, cannabis is a huge part of my life. I smoke weed pretty much every night, and I view it as an extremely important tool for my creative growth. I also enjoy adaptogen & Psilocybin blends or LSD. I like to microdose LSD while I write music, in fact most of this EP was written using microdoses of LSD and Psilocybin“
