1. Please describe yourself and your brand and its evolution in the past seasons.

Myself: I am a very straight forward person, say things how they are and very sarcastic. Obsessed with men’s fashion and clothes in general. I am vegan.

Brand: We are not about mainstream mediocrity. Snowy Owl® embraces the diversity, style and philosophy of street culture and strives to provide high end sophisticated streetwear for those of you in the know. Our mission is to give you a superior quality garment both aesthetically and organically. However we are on our debut collection so we don’t have any past seasons.

Best and toughest part of designing a menswear collection.

Best: For me, I think the best part of designing is creating something cool or edgy which is yours and seeing people dig it and wear it, that is a really satisfying feeling.

Toughest: Snowy Owl® is a creative collaboration. It can be hard agreeing on the vibe/style for a collection or a drop, a time consuming process which may take drawing up drafts of over 100+ designs for one item, which I find frustrating because this takes me away from other stuff that needs to be done, but equally this is probably the most important thing.

What sources of inspiration are your biggest influence?

Good question! I think inspiration can come from anywhere, in both positive and negative situations. Seeing other brands that I don’t rate that are popular inspires me to work harder on my own as I know I can see past them down the line and create cooler stuff.

What was your favourite collection so far?

“No fine print“ collection. As it’s our debut collection and the only one we have released at the moment haha.

How much of your success do you credit to the education you had?

Absolutely none.

What genre of music best describes your collection?

Rap, hip hop, rock ’n‘ roll, grunge and punk.

How do you choose your models for your shows and campaigns?

I find people who have a cool style in their own clothes/people I think will fit the brand’s look.

Do you have any favourite male models?

Sang Woo Kim
Chris John Millington
Billy Huxley
Matthew Noszka

Where do you plan to take your brand next?

Beside fashion – do you have any special talents?

Can’t sing, can’t dance, so no, haha.
