Maxwell D – „Grimey Stuff“ – New Video

Maxwell D joins forces with Grime violinist and producer Nat powers in the hard-hitting, atmospheric grime cut ‘Grimey Stuff’.

Proclaiming his reign as one of the founding members of the birth of Grime, having been a founder member of the Pay As U Go Cartel alongside the likes of DJ Target and Wiley, it’s no surprise to why ‘Grimey Stuff’ is a reflection of his contribution to the genre and demonstrates what he does best. The piano riff accelerates through the melodic dark synth beat and merges with Maxwell D’s powerful vocals, which is laced with heavy Jamaican patois. The awe inducing track is the first single from MaxwellDʼs new Grime EP ‘Timeless‘ volume 1.

Having been a mainstay of grime for more than a decade, Maxwell D has amassed a number of successful hits and projects through the course of the years. Catapulting him onto the radar of fans, press and contemporaries alike, he first launched onto the scene with his garage debut ‘Serious‘, entering the UK national charts and followed up with Champagne Dance from PAYG. Recent tracks have seen him reach over half a million streams on Spotify for the likes of ‚Drop N Get Low’ and he often frequents the grime spaces such as the Grime Shutdown playlist on Spotify with his contribution to smashes such as Sharky Major and the Grime Originals ‘Grime Originals’ anthem and his track ‘Pablo’ with DJ/Producer J-Fresh.
