Haides is the alias of 22-year-old Callum Garvey, based in Croydon, South London. He has been producing music since the age of 14. Initially inspired by the likes of Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren, Callum began his teenage years creating trance tracks. It wasn’t until his older brother introduced him to dubstep that he started to look closer to home for inspiration, closely following South London locals Benga and Skream. By the age of 17, Callum was fully immersed in dance music and started to incorporate the euphoric style of House music into his own work.
Earlier this year he dropped his debut EP ‘Faith’, which gained him critical acclaim from respected blogs around the world.
For a relative newcomer to the scene, Haides already has already built up an impressive live CV, having played house and techno sets at clubs around the country, sharing the bill with the likes of Solomun, Nicole Moudaba, Clive Henry and Loco Dice, at venues including Brixton Electric, Brixton Academy, Club Warehouse, Crucifix Lane and Fire in Vauxhall.
