Releasing the 5th track from what has been his most infectious and well received EP to date, Franko Fraize teams up with Reader & Snowy Danger for ‘King’.
Laid back haze and soulful vocals from Reader are juxtaposed by the skippy, energetic flows from both Franko Fraize and Snowy Danger who go back to back on the verses as hi-hats tap along echoing synths and organ melodies which make this a track to be repeated in order to take in its depths.
Having pushed the boundaries of his previous work, the ‘Lights & Colour EP’, from which ‘King’ is taken, has resulted in Franko Fraize claiming his spot as ‘One To Watch’. Experimenting with styles, sounds and delivery, the EP is a shining example of the stars talents with the likes of MistaJam stating “I’ve been keeping my eye on him for a while but this is possibly his best to date!”.
Heartwarmingly nostalgic and fine tuning his lyrical prowess, Fraize has really touched the buttons of listeners with his latest work, reeling in support from the likes of Clash Magazine, who premiered ‘Queen of Hearts’ and achieving multiple VEVO and Spotify playlists. Having previously performed at the prestigious Maida Vale for a session with Huw Stephens, support from Mistajam and BBC Introducing sits alongside a wealth of both solo and collaborative material that spans a motley range of genres. From releases on Hospital Records with Fred V & Grafix to the Loadstar album to tours with Mike Skinner and Rudimental, Franko he has also performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Reading & Leeds, The Great Escape, Tramlines and Outlook festival.
