Italian sports heritage brand ellesse teams up with iconic New York streetwear label Staple on an exclusive range for summer 2018. The limited edition collection, made up of 14 must-have pieces, combines the sharp urban eye of Staple Pigeon with the sleek Italian sportswear credentials of ellesse.

Founded by Jeff Staple in 1997 the Staple brand has continued to grow and inspire street culture and design. In 2005 the Staple Pigeon icon was born, and has become a world-renowed symbol reflecting the never-ending energy that possessed by both New Yorkers and urban dwellers.

Now fun-loving Italian sportswear brand ellesse has collaborated with Staple to create a capsule of sports heritage design, in a palette inspired by the city streets and skyline’s colour. Tonal camo echos across collection in the form of pigeon silhouettes in pink and grey, also resonating the 90s influences and bringing together each brand’s legacy.

The collaboration sees the merging of each brands iconic logo; the bright ellesse Semi-Palla with the distinctive Staple Pigeon, the result; a range of clean cut pieces with bold design and pops of colour. Through the naming of products such as Rockafella popper pants, Jefferson shorts, and reversible bucket hat Vermont the range gives a bold nod to NYC cultural touchpoints, whilst maintaining the playful and striking Italian style of ellesse.
