I’m D!XON, a singer, song-writer, producer and dancer from Toronto Canada.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
I recently released a new single called Arms Around Me. I’m very passionate about the song, it makes me feel really good when listening to it and I hope it does that same for others. Something about it is so soothing, passionate, and dreamy. While it is a dance track, in the back of my mind I keep hearing slower, dream-like riffs and runs that counters the beat. I have a lot of fun playing around with it. There are endless possibilities for a live version or a remix haha.
In terms of touring, honestly there isn’t much that can be done in this particular moment due to Ms. Rona. She has sufficiently tried us all! I am dreaming up live virtual performance situations in my head, I definitely think that virtual performances are where it’s at now and gives us an opportunity to be creative!
New videos, we LOVE new videos. Guess we’ll have to see what the future has in store!
I can confirm that I am working on my first album! I am so excited and can’t wait to share it with the world!

I am an experience.- never forget that haha!
I love to sing and dance.
I write all of my songs.

I’m obsessed with Mariah Carey. She’s beautiful inside and out.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
My fashion style is non-binary. I don’t mind putting together an outfit from both the men’s and women’s section to craft an appropriate look for any given occasion. There are endless possibilities and restrictions. That’s how I would describe my music through fashion.
Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?
I eat WAY too much pizza and takeout! Especially since the pandemic hit. It’s a problem.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I’m really into visual arts – More specifically digital art! I love editing photos and videos, and artistically enhancing it to make it a whole experience. I could sit at a computer for hours just editing! Other than that, I love acting. I have trained in music theatre and drama for a big chunk of my time in school! I look forward to getting back into it one day.
Being on stage feels like….!
Being on stage feels so empowering, and uplifting! I feel like I turn into a whole other person. The energy of the crowd always feels so great, it’s really special. I feel so amplified and blessed to be able to share my words, stories, and experiences with everyone. Words can’t describe the humiliation that I feel when I hear and see people singing my song, it gives me goosebumps.
Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?
Everyone must have a black top and black combat boots, it goes with literally anything! As for a no-go I’m really not into formal dress cloths. I would prefer to show up in like traditional Moroccan cloths to an American wedding – that would be a whole vibe! I would say my favourite Fashion Brand is Balmain. My favourite fragrance would have to be Prada L’Homme Intense. It smells so good and I’m literally obsessed with it.

If you could work with any musician alive or past who would it be and why.
I would want to work with Prince, the man is a genius and a true musician. I also look up to him as an artist and really appreciate how free and raw he is with his art. I think we would make amazing music together, and it would be amazing to pick his brain also.
