Without a doubt one of the hardest working talents in the UK urban scene, Ayo Beatz returns with his new single ‘One Time’ featuring rising star Alicai Harley.
Whether he’s dropping one of his trademark high production music videos, featuring on a hot new single or producing for the crème de la crème of the UK scene, it seems hardly a week goes by without Ayo’s name popping up on a new release.
From his street hits like ‘Big Man Ting’, ‘Abu Dabbin’ and ‘Fresh Out The Box’ to his crossover tracks like ‘Make It Right’, Ayo has racked up millions of YouTube views and built himself a large following.
With ‘One Time’ Ayo is launching a bona fide anthem, blending Afro, Rap and Caribbean influences to craft a record that’s sure to be blazing out of car stereos all summer long.
Hailing from London, Ayo Beatz started his musical journey when he moved to New York at 16. Captivated by the vibrant Hip Hop scene, he began rapping and soon started teaching himself how to produce. After later moving to Atlanta, home to another blossoming scene that was launching global stars, Ayo knew music was his calling.
Returning to the UK with a hunger to match his talent, Ayo’s steady ascension in the UK music scene has seen him work with the likes of Labrinth, Wiley, Chip, Fredo, Wretch 32, J2K, Mist, Professor Green, Skrapz, Red Café, Stylo G and Ghetts. On Radio he’s been supported by Charlie Sloth, Tim Westwood, DJ Target, Mistajam, Sian Anderson, Seani B, Ras Kwame and many others, and played across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss Fresh and Rinse.
