Many DJs can trace when they first got into music production back to their teenage years, but very few signed their debut tracks to Spinnin’ aged just 16. London-born prodigy Aevion did just that, and now aged 20, he’s releasing another incredible track to add to his impressive debut career. Heartbeat is out now on Tiësto’s label imprint, AFTR:HRS.
Accompanied by delectable, dreamy vocals Heartbeat is an immersive percussive future house track, with sun-drenched chords and an undeniable tropical lilt. Aevion – aka Harry Andrews – explains: “I am very excited for this release on AFTR:HRS, Tiësto is one of my favourite artists and someone I have admired for a very long time. I can’t wait for this track to drop on his very own label!”
Following the success of his debut track Cannes, which earned over a million streams on Spotify, Aevion’s follow-up single Love reached the top 10 on the Beatport house chart and won support from Tiësto, Don Diablo and the late Avicii. His remix roster is another list of credible names including Olly Murs, Michael Calfan and Chappell Roan. Last year saw Aevion collaborate with Oliver Heldens on The Journey and Mr Belt & Wezol on One More Day which made the no.2 and no.1 spots on Beatport’s future house chart, respectively. With music industry domination firmly on the cards, Aevion’s music career will sure be one to follow – and be a fan of.
